Welcome to the NEW YEAR! I hope all you LaGlam Lovers out there tried our easy step smoky eye? Now that we have said goodbye to 2014 and given 2015 a well deserved welcome party we are excited to see what NEW makeup trends are going to hit us this year? Now we all know that Smoky eyes, full defined brows, highlighting and contouring were all the rage last year! I know we are still very early into the new year and I personally still love all those 3 makeup trends but I must say I am super excited to see what is going to lead us in makeup this year, if it will change? Or perhaps still stay the same?
I love to change things up makeup wise and as a makeup artist I love to try new things! For instance mixing lip colours! Apply LaGlam Minerals “First Date” lipstick and just a touch of “Flirt” from LaGlams’ Gold collection lipsticks, two very different colours both gorgeous but once mixed they create such an amazing shade almost like the perfect nude with a peachy pink tone! AMAZING!!

Something else I like to do to enhance my highlighting is conceal under the eye area with a shade that is two times lighter than the skin colour! That then sets the base for a more lighter look under my foundation, and then keeping it more of a matte look instead of using a highlighter as such that has a shimmer. I’m usually a Waikiki 04 shade so I like to use my LaGlam Minerals Foto-Finish powder in Malibu 02 in this under eye area. This look I find works excellent with someone who has a lot of little lines around the eye area. SO while we wait for the next big thing why not try experimenting with your makeup.
